Well, if your reading this you must be interested in learning more about me and my world... well sit yourself down and get comfortable.. its quite a story.... first off, My name is Princess Maleena Salene Kyle, Daughter of King Julian Wulfin Kyle and Queen Alla Marie Kyle. My twin sister and myself were born in the Kingdom of Xedous, which is the top most powerful kingdom on our planet, which is why it is named after our planet, Xedous. Anyways, My sister, Meleena, and I were born with special powers, which is only inherited in my family bloodline, except it skips many generations before another is born with the powers. This might confuse you, allow me to explain. My home planet, Xedous, Is a wondrous planet, filled with beauty and wonder.. much like your planet earth, but there is a difference. You see, the earth's core, it's main source is a ball of hot flaming magma, lava if you will, Where as in my home planet, the core is much more complex, its not lava, but like a melted golden substance that flows out from the core of our planet into a pool at the surface of the planet's crust. This golden pool is what my families kingdom covers and protects, for the golden pool holds many powers that not even our most experienced elders can explain. For as long as my people can remember, there has always been two gifted furrins with the power to bond with the golden pool. These special furrins are known as the planet's Oracles. The oracles always come as twins, the reason for this is believed that the oracle's main purpose in life is to guard and protect the planet and the golden pool, they are gifted with many powers in order to accomplish these tasks, Each oracle has different powers, one of them might have the power to manipulate nature, where as the other one would have the power to manipulate energy, mostly psychic and spirit energy. Together they are very powerful, and must work together to keep the natural balance of the planet in harmony. But you see, having these powers comes at a great cost. The payment for having these powers, costs the bearer their life. You see, The thing that gives them that great gift, is also like a deadly disease, for in order for their powers to work, it draws the energy needed from their very own life, which in turn, leads them to a very very early death. Which is why when new oracles are born and become of age, they must be taken to the golden pool, there they will be placed into the pool where they bind their soul with the main source of the planet itself. This way, even though their body will die out, Their soul is still bound to the physical plane, and because of their magic, they are able to create artificial shell's of their former bodies, or any body they wish in order to interact with people and things in the physical plane. This ritual prevents the oracle's spirit from moving on after death. After the Young oracles enter the pool, the Elder oracles must take a small sample of the golden pool in order to create the soul crystals for the young ones, This is what binds their soul, and also binds them to each other, so no matter what happens to one, it happens to the other as well, when the two soul crystals are combined, the twins become one for a limited time, their powers combine as well, creating a very powerful being.
Now, Like I said before, Oracles are born every so many generations.. and at times they are very very long gaps between... but so long as the oracles have their soul stones, they are basically immortal. Now, Here's when things get interesting.. Remember when I said Oracles cannot pass on to the next world even when their body dies because they are bound to the planet? Well, there is only one way in order for them to move on, and thats only when a new pair of oracles are born, It is tradition that the first born of the twins teaches the younger one of the new twins and vesce versa for the other two. The Elder Oracles have the duty to teach the new Oracles everything that they know and what their duties are.Only when the new Oracles fully understand and learn everything there is to know, can the Elder oracle's spirits finally can move on to their next life, but this training can last for many many years, for every set of Oracles, always learn something new to teach the next set.
My sister Mel, and I are the new Oracles.. I'm the youngest of us, so I'm being taught by my Great x 200 (20 decades between him and myself) Grandfather Hogar Kyle. And My Sister is being taught by our Great x 200 uncle, Kaygus Kyle.
Now... I'm guessing you think that everything goes on the same each time an Oracle is replaced... well thats not true.. although, there hasn't been any rivalry between two oracles for as long as my people have been alive... that is until My Grandfather and Uncle became Oracles... Now.. no one really knows what really happened that started all this... but I will tell you all that I DO know...
My Grandfather and My uncle were born as oracles, and were trained to become the next guardians of the planet.. but something happened down the line that made my Uncle Kaygus go off the track of what an Oracle's job was, He kept to himself untill he learned everything there was to know from his mentor and same with my Grandfather Hogar, but as soon as the Elder Oracles finally were able to pass on to the next life, by then my grandfather and Uncle were in their mid 20's, Kaygus, decided he wanted to have the kingdom all to himself, he wanted more power, he wanted power over the other kingdoms on Xedous... and He destroyed anyone who got in his way... My Grandfather fought him and defended the kingdom of Xedous, even when his children and his children's children took over the throne, Hogar still protected them from Kaygus. Kaygus on the other hand, had taken over other kingdoms by this time, and would still strive for the Kingdom of Xedous, Mainly because of the Golden pool, and how he wanted it for himself. The two fought non-stop over the kingdom for 20 decades, Thats when My sister and I were born. My Grandfather knew that Kaygus was going to come for Mel, and he wasn't allowed to interfere, knowing this he also knew that the fight for the kingdom has come to a halt, for now he had a greater responsibility on his hands... yours truly... so.. My Uncle Kaygus lead a full on assault on the kingdom when I was still a young pup.. My grandfather took me down into the bowls of the kingdom, where the golden pool was, he preformed the ritual for me and bottled some of the pool before he took me and fled to the Forest, My uncle wanted to dispose of me before I was bound, so that way he didn't have to worry about my sister and I being bound together.. for when we were, we couldn't kill another or els we both die. Kaygus didn't learn about me being bound already till later... far later... He took over the kingdom through Mel, He basically uses her as a puppet in order to rule the throne.. He spent years searching for me, but alas, never found me... My grandfather, whom I didn't know he was my grandfather at the time, disguised himself as a plump furrin, who I, along with the others he rescued from the castle, called Papa Atticus... Myself, Prisma, and Hugo.. My two friends who he took with him. I stayed there until I was about 16... Then He sent me, Prisma and Hugo to the big city, and look for a little girl named Harai, We didn't understand at the time but we went anyways. I remember it like it was yesterday... That was my first time ever being in the big city... that was also when I met Silver, Zack, and Tai... they were singing in a concert... but thats not important.. anyways. we ended up finding the little girl, and it turned out she's from the future, she was Mel's Daughter and used the golden pool to travel back in time to warn me of what happens and to help her change it.. This is when I find out Who I am and What was going on... so I agreed to help her... well.. one fateful day we went to try and take the kingdom back from my sister, but alas, it didn't work well... but she got a hold of Harai... Turns out Kaygus was after her... and told Mel to dispose of her... which she did... That day I promised I'd fight to get my father's kingdom back... I'd keep my promise to Harai... I'd make things right... Thats when I started The Freedom Fighters Of Xedous...
Whew.. that was a long one.. Hopefully you all can understand all that I said.. I do tend to ramble.. so forgive me.. I'm not much of a speaker... But the story doesn't stop there either...
Well, The Golden pool as you already know, has many powers.. one of which it opens a portal to a different world.... I used to go to that world with mel and my father when we were very young... before kaygus took over.. (on a side note, I didn't remember any of this until I remembered who I was...) anyways, The other world was called Mobius, My father would go there to work with King Acorn about.. some.. boring business.. I never payed attention... But thats when I first met Sally, Rotor, Antione and of course, Sonic... I didn't meet bunny till I was older.. anyways.. I find the portal again when my Freedom Fighters and I raided the Castle one day, I only found it because I found papers Mel had in her chambers, talking about the Chaos emeralds, she Left for mobius to try and take the emeralds... so I went there myself and caught up with the old gang again.... which turned out they were having struggling problems of their own with Warlord Julian Ivo Kintobor... Or Dr. Robotnik as he likes to be called now... I guess he turned against the king and enslaved their people.. Well I found out Mel decided to help him get rid of the Mobius Freedom fighters as long as she got the emeralds... (which I doubt either one will keep their words).. so I've been staying in Knothole helping my friends with their war, and going back to my world from time to time to make sure every thing's alright there as well...
and for those of you thats wondering, The portal that allows me to travel to their world and back to mine, you might be more familiar with what Sonic seems to call them... what was it...a... Zone.. I think... yeah... Well, thats all I have for now.. I'm beat and I have patrol to do tomorrow, I hate patrol.. its so boring.. and with Ant' it's worse... I need my beauty rest, till next time....
